Recently, I made a conscious decision to practice self-love. I know I know. you probably envision me all hippie-like and chanting like Tina Turner, trying to get my life in perspective. Shame on you! I'm a bit more deep than that. LOL Actually, I am a hippie at heart.
Here's my checklist for the next few weeks. It will grow as I grow.
- Music-Solange
- Reading now - Dale Carnegie
- Scent - Carol's Daughter
- Lip smacking good meal - Hawaiian Pineapple Chicken and Tumeric Rice
- Sermon - TD Jakes, The Danger of Low Expectations
- Celebrity Crush - Jax Teller (Oh hush!)
- New habit - Journaling for business
- Heart String Puller - None of ya beezwax! But know that love is always around me.
- Secret Passion - Gorgeous Matte Lipsticks
- Bible Book - Esther
- Pet peeve - Selfish users, fake love, and dishonest people. STAY AWAY!
I'm working on myself. I am far from perfect and I can identify my challenges because I care to be honest about them. You can't be a better you unless you are willing to do the work. It's painful and sometimes your crown feels heavy and looks tarnished. That won't last. Until tomorrow Luvs........
