Heyyy beautiful people! I'm back from a very long break. I promise to be much more consistent with this blogging thing. :) I've just been so busy with work, travel, kids, and life in general, that I haven't made the time for a much-needed paper purge. I hope that all is well with you.
Recently, I made a conscious decision to practice self-love. I know I know. you probably envision me all hippie-like and chanting like Tina Turner, trying to get my life in perspective. Shame on you! I'm a bit more deep than that. LOL Actually, I am a hippie at heart.

Here's my checklist for the next few weeks. It will grow as I grow.

  1. Music-Solange
  2. Reading now - Dale Carnegie
  3. Scent - Carol's Daughter
  4. Lip smacking good meal - Hawaiian Pineapple Chicken and Tumeric Rice
  5. Sermon - TD Jakes, The Danger of Low Expectations
  6. Celebrity Crush - Jax Teller (Oh hush!)
  7. New habit - Journaling for business
  8. Heart String Puller - None of ya beezwax! But know that love is always around me.
  9. Secret Passion - Gorgeous Matte Lipsticks
  10. Bible Book - Esther
  11. Pet peeve - Selfish users, fake love, and dishonest people. STAY AWAY!
I'm working on myself. I am far from perfect and I can identify my challenges because I care to be honest about them. You can't be a better you unless you are willing to do the work. It's painful and sometimes your crown feels heavy and looks tarnished. That won't last. Until tomorrow Luvs........

And then it happens...................you see that what you were waiting for was in front of your face all of the time! You completely overlooked him, the best thing that ever happened to you, the one who was there all of the time just waiting for you to see the truest love that your heart has always longed for...... How could you have been so blind? And how could he have waited so long while you totally ignored all of the signs. Baby you've got a lot of making up to do. :)

NEVER be upset when a door closes sweetheart. Trust me......it was the wrong door in the first place.
Live, laugh, love! MUAH!

FREE is sometimes FREE!

So you have your own business and you need exposure but don't have enough MULAH to get in heavy rotation on radio or television. You've run newspaper ads next to your competitors and it hasn't done much to get you new customers or clients.

What should you do?

There is a meeting for small businesses that want to be involved in an event marketing program that draws a crowd of more than 10,000 people in one day. The program is free...........

OK so I am enraged! 7 people showed up! SEVEN PEOPLE! I'm done. I'll have to get back to this post when I calm my nerves..

What about your friends?

Hey there! I'm back with a controversial debate that I'd like to start in reference to social media. I have more than 1,500 friends on FB and don't know half of them. They respond to my posts and I make it a point to let my top friends know where I'm coming from.

HOWEVER......are all friends created equal? In life I guess it's a good idea to have a plethora of friends who are diverse and from different walks of life. But I'm trying to build an empire......a marketing Queendom where my royal subjects admire and depend on me to get the word out about their product, service, or event. I'm somewhat of a Marketing and PR passionista! Should I combine worthless banter with business credibility on one social media site? Should my business partners get to know the intimate details of my life and innermost thoughts? Will my personality serve as a pro or a con in their book?

I don't have all of the answers but so far it hasn't hurt me. Stay tuned to find out what my "friends" have to say about it!

Zip your lips!

I'm going to keep this plain and simple.........do not share your ideas with anyone! Until you have them locked, stocked, and trademarked, keep your lips zipped. It's pretty sad that people do not respect originality and scheme to make a statement with your statements. Thieves!!!!!!!!  Today I learned a great lesson.

IDEAS = REVENUE     Would you give your money away?

ZIP YOUR LIPS PEOPLE!!!
